Book of Psalms, No. 91
No. 91 of the Psalms
Will procure himself lodging under the very shadow of the Almighty One.3
My God, in whom I will trust.”5
From the pestilence causing adversities.7
And under his wings you will take refuge.9
His trueness10 will be a large shield11 and bulwark.[b]
Nor of the arrow13 that flies by day,
Nor of the destruction that despoils at midday.15
And ten thousand at your right hand;
To you it will not come near.16
And see the retribution itself of the wicked ones.18
You have made the Most High himself your dwelling;20
And not even a plague will draw near to your tent.22
To guard you in all your ways.24
That you may not strike your foot against any stone.26
You will trample down the maned young lion and the big snake.28
I shall also provide him with escape.30
I shall protect him[d] because he has come to know my name.31
I shall be with him in distress.33
I shall rescue him and glorify him.34
And I shall cause him to see salvation by me.36FOOTNOTES
