Book of Psalms, No. 62
No. 62 of the Psalms
From him my salvation is.2
I shall not be made to totter very much.4
All of YOU are like a leaning wall, a stone wall that is being pushed in.6
They take pleasure in a lie.8
With their mouth they bless, but inside themselves they call down evil.9 Seʹlah.
Because from him is my hope.11
I shall not be made to totter.13
My strong rock, my refuge is in God.15
Before him pour out YOUR heart.17
God is a refuge for us.18 Seʹlah.
The sons of mankind[c] are a lie.20
When laid upon the scales they are all together lighter than an exhalation.21
Nor become vain in sheer robbery.23
In case the means of maintenance should thrive, do not set YOUR heart [on them].24
That strength belongs to God.26
For you yourself pay back to each one[e] according to his work.28FOOTNOTES
