Chapter 6 of LeviticusNew World Translation (NWT)

  1. [a] And Jehovah went on to speak to Moses, saying:
  2. “In case a soul sins in that he does behave unfaithfully toward Jehovah1 and does deceive2 his associate about something in his charge or a deposit in hand3 or a robbery or he does defraud his associate,4
  3. or he does find something lost5 and is actually deceptive about it and does swear falsely6 over any of all the things that the man might do to sin by them;
  4. then it must occur that in case he sins and indeed becomes guilty,7 he must return the robbed thing which he has robbed or the extorted thing which he has taken by fraud or the thing in his charge which was put in his charge or the thing lost that he has found,
  5. or anything at all over which he might swear falsely, and he must make compensation8 for it in its full amount, and he will add to it a fifth of it. To the one whose it is he will give it on the day his guilt is proved.
  6. And as his guilt offering he will bring to Jehovah a sound ram9 from the flock according to the estimated value, for a guilt offering,10 to the priest.
  7. And the priest must make an atonement11 for him before Jehovah, and so it must be forgiven him regarding any of all the things that he might do resulting in guiltiness by it.”
  8. ¶ And Jehovah continued to speak to Moses, saying:
  9. “Command Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the law of the burnt offering:12 The burnt offering will be on the hearth upon the altar all night long until the morning, and the fire of the altar will be kindled in it.
  10. And the priest must clothe himself with his official dress of linen,13 and he will put the linen drawers14 on over his flesh. Then he must lift up the fatty ashes15 of the burnt offering that the fire regularly consumes upon the altar, and he must place them beside the altar.
  11. And he must strip off his garments16 and put on other garments, and he must take the fatty ashes out to a clean place outside the camp.17
  12. And the fire on the altar will be kept burning on it. It must not go out. And the priest must burn wood18 on it morning by morning and set the burnt offering in order over it, and he must make the fatty pieces of the communion sacrifices smoke over it.19
  13. Fire20 will be kept constantly burning on the altar. It must not go out.
  14. ¶ “‘Now this is the law of the grain21 offering: YOU sons of Aaron, present it before Jehovah in front of the altar.
  15. And one of them must lift up by his handful some of the fine flour of the grain offering and some of its oil and all the frankincense that is upon the grain offering, and he must make it smoke upon the altar as a restful odor for a remembrancer22 of it to Jehovah.
  16. And what is left of it Aaron and his sons will eat.23 It will be eaten as unfermented cakes24 in a holy place. They will eat it in the courtyard of the tent of meeting.
  17. It should not be baked with anything leavened.25 I have given it as their share out of my offerings made by fire.26 It is something most holy,27 like the sin offering and like the guilt offering.
  18. Every male28 among the sons of Aaron will eat it. It is an allowance to time indefinite29 throughout YOUR generations from Jehovah’s offerings made by fire. Everything that may touch them will become holy.’”
  19. ¶ And Jehovah went on speaking to Moses, saying:
  20. “This is the offering30 of Aaron and his sons that they will present to Jehovah on the day of his being anointed:31 the tenth of an eʹphah32 of fine flour as a grain offering33 constantly, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening.
  21. It will be made with oil upon a griddle.34 You will bring it well mixed. You will present the pastries of the grain offering in pieces as a restful odor to Jehovah.
  22. And the priest, the one anointed[b] in place of him from among his sons,35 will make it. It is a regulation to time indefinite: As a whole offering it will be made36 to smoke to Jehovah.
  23. And every grain offering of a priest37 should prove to be a whole offering. It must not be eaten.”
  24. ¶ And Jehovah spoke further to Moses, saying:
  25. “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the law of the sin offering:38 In the place39 where the burnt offering is regularly slaughtered the sin offering will be slaughtered before Jehovah. It is a most holy thing.40
  26. The priest who offers it for sin will eat it.41 In a holy place42 it will be eaten in the courtyard43 of the tent of meeting.
  27. ¶ “‘Everything that may touch its flesh will become holy,44 and when anyone spatters some of its blood upon the garment,45 you will wash what he spatters blood upon in a holy place.46
  28. And the earthenware47 vessel in which it may be boiled is to be shattered. But if it was boiled in a copper vessel, then it must be scoured and rinsed with water.
  29. ¶ “‘Every male among the priests will eat it.48 It is something most holy.49
  30. However, no sin offering of which some of the blood50 will be brought into the tent of meeting to make atonement in the holy place must be eaten. It is to be burned with fire.

The bible tells us to test the spirits. Satan disguises himself as angel of light. So yes some denomination are not teaching the truth. You are responsible for judging which ones are not. You have to judge the truth at all times. this is what the bible teaches

The NWT is a very good translation. Dr. Jason David BeDuhn PhD attests to that in his book Truth in Translation. drive.google.com/...5p16melHzg8/view

The NWT is Satanic filth to its very core.

The JW Cult is Satanic to its very core.

Praise Yahweh I will never be a victim of JW brainwashing. If I burn in Hell for eternity or I am ultimately annihilated so be it

May Yahweh's curse rest on the Watchtower Society and its Satanic leadership

NWT is a false translation that takes away from the deity of Jesus !

Thank you for taking the time to provide this service. I like seeing the NASB on your web page in the same format as I read on paper. On other sites, the text area is smaller, and so I have to keep scrolling down to read and sometimes I lose the context. So I really appreciate the format.

As far as the NWT, you are certainly free to do whatever you think best with your own web pages. I'd suggest that you make a note anytime you have a translation that is associated with only one denomination or church, for example:
New World Translation (Jehovah's Witness version).

In Jesus' parable of the wheat and the tares. the main idea seems to be that you can't easily distinguish between God's people and not-God's people on this earth, so our Lord's response is to wait until they are shown to be the kind of people they are inside. But the NWT seems like false teaching to me. So I think the warning passages from Jesus' apostles are more applicable, as in 2 Peter 3:15-16, when he talks about Paul's writings:
"There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures."
And we also have the positive exhortations, as in 2 Timothy 2:15:
"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth."

Your suggestion regarding the denominational flagging is duly noted. But I can’t help but wonder, wouldn’t a Catholic also want “Protestant versions” marked as well?

As for the parable, I’m pretty sure the slaves were convinced in their own minds that they could tell the tares from the wheat. After all, aren’t they the ones who identified the problem in the first place? But the master obviously thought otherwise.

Furthermore, even at the time when Jesus himself was walking the earth, not everybody who claimed fellowship actually followed him causing John to inquire at Mark 9:39, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we tried to prevent him because he was not following us.” But Jesus said, “Do not hinder him . . . for he who is not against us is for us.”

Hello, question.. why have you included the NWT with other legitimate bible translations? Or why have you not atleast included a warning to readers? Don't you fear that someone could be influenced by the Watchtower's intentional heresies? Thank you.

Please site these intentional heresies. I am well versed in the watch tower outline and agree they are in many ways incorrect but i also bet i can point many out from EVERY established or main denomination. There is much to learn from them all as one who drinks milk?

Judge not lest ye be judged, that is not to pass judgement on you either brother.

I debate with scripture. I don't hold it to be true that Michael is Y'Shua HaMeshiach but I also firmly hold it to be true that our G-d and Heavenly Father are not the word encarnate and only begotten son.

I love not seeing "lord" which i relate to baal. I feel the catholic church is a satanic establishment and I am aware a freemason started the hovies but there are evil in high places and our fight is also with principalities.

What i'm saying is that in my darkest hours, those two were some of if not the only ones who would bring a Bible and eucharist and pray with me.

We all fall short of the glory of G-d.

Don't forget the NWT was recognized as the most accurate translation on Jeopardy.

Lastly, this is different I noted than the NWT i have read and am very familiar with. Pull up the watchtower page and compare. I truly look forward to getting this one!
