Chapter 59 of IsaiahNew World Translation (NWT)

  1. ¶ Look! The hand of Jehovah has not become too short that it cannot save,1 nor has his ear become too heavy that it cannot hear.2
  2. No, but the very errors of YOU people have become the things causing division between YOU and YOUR God,[a]3 and YOUR own sins have caused the concealing of [his] face from YOU to keep from hearing.4
  3. For YOUR own palms have become polluted with blood,5 and YOUR fingers with error. YOUR own lips have spoken falsehood.6 YOUR own tongue kept muttering sheer unrighteousness.7
  4. There is no one calling out in righteousness,8 and no one at all has gone to court in faithfulness. There has been a trusting in unreality,9 and a speaking of worthlessness.10 There has been a conceiving of trouble, and a bringing of what is hurtful to birth.11
  5. ¶ The eggs of a poisonous snake are what they have hatched, and they kept weaving the mere cobweb of a spider.12 Anyone eating some of their eggs would die, and the [egg] that was smashed would be hatched into a viper.13
  6. Their mere cobweb will not serve as a garment, nor will they cover themselves with their works.14 Their works are hurtful works, and the activity of violence is in their palms.15
  7. Their own feet keep running to sheer badness,16 and they are in a hurry to shed innocent blood.17 Their thoughts are hurtful thoughts;18 despoiling and breakdown are in their highways.[b]19
  8. The way of peace20 they have ignored, and there is no justice in their tracks.21 Their roadways they have made crooked for themselves.22 No one at all treading in them[c] will actually know peace.23
  9. ¶ That is why justice has come to be far away from us, and righteousness does not catch up with us. We keep hoping for light, but, look! darkness; for brightness, [but] in continuous gloom we kept walking.24
  10. We keep groping for the wall just like blind men, and like those without eyes we keep groping.25 We have stumbled at high noon just as in evening darkness; among the stout ones [we are] just like dead people.26
  11. We keep groaning, all of us, just like bears; and like doves we mournfully keep cooing.27 We kept hoping for justice,28 but there was none; for salvation, [but] it has stayed far away from us.29
  12. For our revolts have become many in front of you;30 and as for our sins, each one has testified against us.31 For our revolts are with us; and as for our errors, we well know them.32
  13. There have been transgressing and a denying of Jehovah;33 and there was a moving back from our God,[d] a speaking of oppression and revolt,34 a conceiving and a muttering of words of falsehood from the very heart.35
  14. And justice was forced to move back,36 and righteousness itself kept standing simply far off.37 For truth has stumbled even in the public square, and what is straightforward is unable to enter.38
  15. And the truth proves to be missing,39 and anyone turning away from badness is being despoiled.40
¶ And Jehovah got to see, and it was bad in his eyes that there was no justice.41
  16. And when he saw that there was no man,[e] he began to show himself astonished that there was no one interposing.42 And his arm proceeded to save for him, and his own righteousness was the thing that supported him.43
  17. Then he put on righteousness as a coat of mail,44 and the helmet of salvation upon his head.45 Furthermore, he put on the garments of vengeance as raiment46 and enwrapped himself with zeal as if a sleeveless coat.47
  18. In accordance with the dealings he will reward correspondingly,48 rage to his adversaries, due treatment to his enemies.49 To the islands[f] he will recompense due treatment.50
  19. And from the sunset they will begin to fear the name of Jehovah,51 and from the rising of the sun the glory of him,52 for he will come in like a distressing river,[g] which the very spirit[h] of Jehovah has driven along.53
  20. ¶ “And to Zion54 the Repurchaser55 will certainly come, and to those turning from transgression[i] in Jacob,”56 is the utterance of Jehovah.
  21. ¶ “And as for me, this is my covenant with them,”57 Jehovah has said.
¶ “My spirit that is upon you[j]58 and my words that I have put in your mouth59—they will not be removed from your mouth or from the mouth of your offspring[k] or from the mouth of the offspring of your offspring,” Jehovah has said, “from now on even to time indefinite.”60

The bible tells us to test the spirits. Satan disguises himself as angel of light. So yes some denomination are not teaching the truth. You are responsible for judging which ones are not. You have to judge the truth at all times. this is what the bible teaches

The NWT is a very good translation. Dr. Jason David BeDuhn PhD attests to that in his book Truth in Translation. drive.google.com/...5p16melHzg8/view

The NWT is Satanic filth to its very core.

The JW Cult is Satanic to its very core.

Praise Yahweh I will never be a victim of JW brainwashing. If I burn in Hell for eternity or I am ultimately annihilated so be it

May Yahweh's curse rest on the Watchtower Society and its Satanic leadership

NWT is a false translation that takes away from the deity of Jesus !

Thank you for taking the time to provide this service. I like seeing the NASB on your web page in the same format as I read on paper. On other sites, the text area is smaller, and so I have to keep scrolling down to read and sometimes I lose the context. So I really appreciate the format.

As far as the NWT, you are certainly free to do whatever you think best with your own web pages. I'd suggest that you make a note anytime you have a translation that is associated with only one denomination or church, for example:
New World Translation (Jehovah's Witness version).

In Jesus' parable of the wheat and the tares. the main idea seems to be that you can't easily distinguish between God's people and not-God's people on this earth, so our Lord's response is to wait until they are shown to be the kind of people they are inside. But the NWT seems like false teaching to me. So I think the warning passages from Jesus' apostles are more applicable, as in 2 Peter 3:15-16, when he talks about Paul's writings:
"There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures."
And we also have the positive exhortations, as in 2 Timothy 2:15:
"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth."

Your suggestion regarding the denominational flagging is duly noted. But I can’t help but wonder, wouldn’t a Catholic also want “Protestant versions” marked as well?

As for the parable, I’m pretty sure the slaves were convinced in their own minds that they could tell the tares from the wheat. After all, aren’t they the ones who identified the problem in the first place? But the master obviously thought otherwise.

Furthermore, even at the time when Jesus himself was walking the earth, not everybody who claimed fellowship actually followed him causing John to inquire at Mark 9:39, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we tried to prevent him because he was not following us.” But Jesus said, “Do not hinder him . . . for he who is not against us is for us.”

Hello, question.. why have you included the NWT with other legitimate bible translations? Or why have you not atleast included a warning to readers? Don't you fear that someone could be influenced by the Watchtower's intentional heresies? Thank you.

Please site these intentional heresies. I am well versed in the watch tower outline and agree they are in many ways incorrect but i also bet i can point many out from EVERY established or main denomination. There is much to learn from them all as one who drinks milk?

Judge not lest ye be judged, that is not to pass judgement on you either brother.

I debate with scripture. I don't hold it to be true that Michael is Y'Shua HaMeshiach but I also firmly hold it to be true that our G-d and Heavenly Father are not the word encarnate and only begotten son.

I love not seeing "lord" which i relate to baal. I feel the catholic church is a satanic establishment and I am aware a freemason started the hovies but there are evil in high places and our fight is also with principalities.

What i'm saying is that in my darkest hours, those two were some of if not the only ones who would bring a Bible and eucharist and pray with me.

We all fall short of the glory of G-d.

Don't forget the NWT was recognized as the most accurate translation on Jeopardy.

Lastly, this is different I noted than the NWT i have read and am very familiar with. Pull up the watchtower page and compare. I truly look forward to getting this one!
