Chapter 48 of EzekielNew World Translation (NWT)

  1. ¶ “And these are the names of the tribes. From the northern extremity, on the side by the way of Hethʹlon1 to the entering in to Haʹmath,2 Haʹzar-eʹnan,3 the boundary of Damascus northward, on the side of Haʹmath; and it must prove to have an eastern border [and] the western, Dan4 one [portion].
  2. And on the boundary of Dan, from the eastern border to the western border, Ashʹer5 one.
  3. And on the boundary of Ashʹer, from the eastern border even to the western border, Naphʹta·li6 one.
  4. And on the boundary of Naphʹta·li, from the eastern border to the western border, Ma·nasʹseh7 one.
  5. And on the boundary of Ma·nasʹseh, from the eastern border to the western border, Eʹphra·im8 one.
  6. And on the boundary of Eʹphra·im, from the eastern border even to the western border, Reuʹben9 one.
  7. And on the boundary of Reuʹben, from the eastern border to the western border, Judah10 one.
  8. And on the boundary of Judah, from the eastern border to the western border, the contribution that YOU people should contribute should prove to be twenty-five thousand [cubits] in width,11 and [the] length according to one of the portions from the eastern border to the western border. And the sanctuary[a] must prove to be in the midst of it.12
  9. ¶ “As regards the contribution that YOU should contribute to Jehovah, [the] length will be twenty-five thousand [cubits] and [the] width ten thousand.
  10. And as to these there should prove to be the holy contribution for the priests,13 to the north twenty-five thousand [cubits], and to the west a width of ten thousand, and to the east a width of ten thousand, and to the south a length of twenty-five thousand. And the sanctuary of Jehovah[b] must prove to be in the midst of it.14
  11. It will be for the priests, those who are sanctified from the sons of Zaʹdok,15 who took care of the obligation toward me, who did not wander away when the sons of Israel wandered away, just as the Levites wandered away.16
  12. And they must come to have a contribution from the contribution of the land as something most holy, on the boundary of the Levites.17
  13. ¶ “And the Levites should have,18 right next to the territory of the priests, twenty-five thousand [cubits] in length, and in width ten thousand; the whole length being twenty-five thousand and width being ten thousand.19
  14. And they should not sell any of it, nor should one make an exchange, nor should one cause the choicest of the land to pass away [from them]; for it is something holy to Jehovah.20
  15. ¶ “As regards the five thousand [cubits] that is left remaining in width alongside the twenty-five thousand, it is something profane for the city,21 for a dwelling place and for pasture ground. And the city must come to be in the midst of it.22
  16. And these are the [city’s][c] measurements: the northern border four thousand five hundred [cubits], and the southern border four thousand five hundred, and the eastern border four thousand five hundred, and the western border four thousand five hundred.
  17. And the city must come to have a pasture ground,23 to the north two hundred and fifty [cubits], and to the south two hundred and fifty, and to the east two hundred and fifty, and to the west two hundred and fifty.
  18. ¶ “And what is left remaining over in length will be exactly as the holy contribution,24 ten thousand [cubits] to the east, and ten thousand to the west; and it must prove to be exactly as the holy contribution, and its produce must come to be for bread for the ones serving the city.25
  19. And those who are serving the city out of all the tribes of Israel will cultivate it.26
  20. ¶ “The whole contribution is twenty-five thousand [cubits] by twenty-five thousand. A foursquare part YOU people should contribute as the holy contribution with the possession of the city.
  21. ¶ “And what is left over will belong to the chieftain,27 on this side and on that side of the holy contribution and of the possession of the city,28 alongside the twenty-five thousand [cubits] [of] the contribution to the eastern boundary; and on the west alongside the twenty-five thousand [cubits] to the western boundary.29 Exactly like the portions, [it will be] for the chieftain. And the holy contribution and the sanctuary[d] of the House[e] must prove to be in the midst of it.
  22. ¶ “And as regards the possession of the Levites and the possession of the city, in between what belongs to the chieftain it should prove to be. Between the boundary of Judah30 and the boundary of Benjamin it should come to belong to the chieftain.
  23. ¶ “And as regards the rest of the tribes, from the eastern border to the western border, Benjamin31 one [portion].
  24. And by the boundary of Benjamin, from the eastern border to the western border, Simʹe·on32 one.
  25. And by the boundary of Simʹe·on, from the eastern border to the western border, Isʹsa·char33 one.
  26. And by the boundary of Isʹsa·char, from the eastern border to the western border, Zebʹu·lun34 one.
  27. And by the boundary of Zebʹu·lun, from the eastern border to the western border, Gad35 one.
  28. And by the boundary of Gad, to the southern[f] border, it will be southward;[g] and the boundary must prove to be from Taʹmar36 to the waters of Merʹi·bath-kaʹdesh,37 to the torrent valley,38 as far as the Great Sea.39
  29. ¶ “This will be the land that YOU people should cause to fall [by lot] for inheritance to the tribes of Israel,40 and these will be their shares,”41 is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.
  30. ¶ “And these will be the outlets of the city: On the northern border, four thousand five hundred [cubits] will be [the] measurement.42
  31. ¶ “And the gates of the city will be according to the names of the tribes of Israel, three gates being on the north, the gate of Reuʹben, one; the gate of Judah, one; the gate of Leʹvi, one.
  32. ¶ “And on the eastern border there will be four thousand five hundred [cubits], and three gates, even the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; the gate of Dan, one.
  33. ¶ “And the southern border will be four thousand five hundred [cubits] as to measurement, with three gates, the gate of Simʹe·on, one; the gate of Isʹsa·char, one; the gate of Zebʹu·lun, one.
  34. ¶ “The western border will be four thousand five hundred [cubits], there being three gates, the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Ashʹer, one; the gate of Naphʹta·li, one.
  35. ¶ “Round about [there will be] eighteen thousand [cubits]; and the name of the city from [that] day on will be Jehovah Himself Is There.”[h]43

The bible tells us to test the spirits. Satan disguises himself as angel of light. So yes some denomination are not teaching the truth. You are responsible for judging which ones are not. You have to judge the truth at all times. this is what the bible teaches

The NWT is a very good translation. Dr. Jason David BeDuhn PhD attests to that in his book Truth in Translation. drive.google.com/...5p16melHzg8/view

The NWT is Satanic filth to its very core.

The JW Cult is Satanic to its very core.

Praise Yahweh I will never be a victim of JW brainwashing. If I burn in Hell for eternity or I am ultimately annihilated so be it

May Yahweh's curse rest on the Watchtower Society and its Satanic leadership

NWT is a false translation that takes away from the deity of Jesus !

Thank you for taking the time to provide this service. I like seeing the NASB on your web page in the same format as I read on paper. On other sites, the text area is smaller, and so I have to keep scrolling down to read and sometimes I lose the context. So I really appreciate the format.

As far as the NWT, you are certainly free to do whatever you think best with your own web pages. I'd suggest that you make a note anytime you have a translation that is associated with only one denomination or church, for example:
New World Translation (Jehovah's Witness version).

In Jesus' parable of the wheat and the tares. the main idea seems to be that you can't easily distinguish between God's people and not-God's people on this earth, so our Lord's response is to wait until they are shown to be the kind of people they are inside. But the NWT seems like false teaching to me. So I think the warning passages from Jesus' apostles are more applicable, as in 2 Peter 3:15-16, when he talks about Paul's writings:
"There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures."
And we also have the positive exhortations, as in 2 Timothy 2:15:
"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth."

Your suggestion regarding the denominational flagging is duly noted. But I can’t help but wonder, wouldn’t a Catholic also want “Protestant versions” marked as well?

As for the parable, I’m pretty sure the slaves were convinced in their own minds that they could tell the tares from the wheat. After all, aren’t they the ones who identified the problem in the first place? But the master obviously thought otherwise.

Furthermore, even at the time when Jesus himself was walking the earth, not everybody who claimed fellowship actually followed him causing John to inquire at Mark 9:39, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we tried to prevent him because he was not following us.” But Jesus said, “Do not hinder him . . . for he who is not against us is for us.”

Hello, question.. why have you included the NWT with other legitimate bible translations? Or why have you not atleast included a warning to readers? Don't you fear that someone could be influenced by the Watchtower's intentional heresies? Thank you.

Please site these intentional heresies. I am well versed in the watch tower outline and agree they are in many ways incorrect but i also bet i can point many out from EVERY established or main denomination. There is much to learn from them all as one who drinks milk?

Judge not lest ye be judged, that is not to pass judgement on you either brother.

I debate with scripture. I don't hold it to be true that Michael is Y'Shua HaMeshiach but I also firmly hold it to be true that our G-d and Heavenly Father are not the word encarnate and only begotten son.

I love not seeing "lord" which i relate to baal. I feel the catholic church is a satanic establishment and I am aware a freemason started the hovies but there are evil in high places and our fight is also with principalities.

What i'm saying is that in my darkest hours, those two were some of if not the only ones who would bring a Bible and eucharist and pray with me.

We all fall short of the glory of G-d.

Don't forget the NWT was recognized as the most accurate translation on Jeopardy.

Lastly, this is different I noted than the NWT i have read and am very familiar with. Pull up the watchtower page and compare. I truly look forward to getting this one!
