Chapter 44 of EzekielNew World Translation (NWT)

  1. ¶ And he proceeded to bring me back by way of the gate of the sanctuary,[a] the outer one facing east,1 and it was shut.2
  2. Then Jehovah said to me: “As regards this gate, shut is how it will continue. It will not be opened, and no mere man[b] will come in by it; for Jehovah himself, the God[c] of Israel,3 has come in by it, and it must continue shut.
  3. However, the chieftain4—as chieftain he himself will sit in it, in order to eat bread before Jehovah.5 By way of the porch of the gate he will come in, and by way of it he will go out.”6
  4. ¶ And he now brought me by way of the north gate to before the House, that I might see, and, look! the glory of Jehovah had filled the house of Jehovah.7 And I went falling on my face.8
  5. Then Jehovah said to me: “Son of man, set your heart9 and see with your eyes, and with your ears hear all that I am speaking with you regarding all the statutes of the house of Jehovah and regarding all its laws, and you must set your heart upon the entryway of the House with all the exits of the sanctuary.
  6. And you must say to Rebelliousness,[d]10 to the house of Israel, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said: “That is enough of YOU because of all YOUR detestable things, O house of Israel,11
  7. when YOU bring in the foreigners[e] uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh,12 in order to come to be in my sanctuary so as to profane it, even my house; when YOU present my bread,13 fat14 and blood,15 while they keep breaking my covenant on account of all YOUR detestable things.16
  8. Neither have YOU taken care of the obligation of my holy things,17 nor would YOU post [others] as caretakers of my obligation in my sanctuary for yourselves.”’18
  9. ¶ “‘This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said: “No foreigner,[f] uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, may come into my sanctuary, that is, any foreigner who is in the midst of the sons of Israel.”’19
  10. ¶ “‘But as for the Levites who got far away from me20 when Israel, who wandered away from me, wandered after their dungy idols, they must also bear their error.21
  11. And in my sanctuary they must become ministers[g] at posts of oversight over the gates of the House and ministers at the House.22 They themselves will slaughter the whole burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people,23 and they themselves will stand before them to minister to them.24
  12. For the reason that they kept ministering to them before their dungy idols25 and became to the house of Israel a stumbling block into error,26 that is why I have raised my hand against them,’27 is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah, ‘and they must bear their error.
  13. And they will not approach to me to act as priest to me or to approach to any holy things of mine, to the most holy things,28 and they must bear their humiliation and their detestable things that they did.29
  14. And I shall certainly make them caretakers of the obligation of the House, as regards all its service and as regards all that should be done in it.’30
  15. ¶ “‘And as for the Levitical priests,31 the sons of Zaʹdok,32 who took care of the obligation of my sanctuary when the sons of Israel wandered away from me,33 they themselves will come near to me to minister to me, and they must stand before me34 to present to me fat35 and the blood,’36 is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.
  16. ‘They are the ones that will come into my sanctuary,37 and they themselves will come near to my table to minister to me,38 and they must take care of the obligation to me.39
  17. ¶ “‘And it must occur that when they come into the gates of the inner courtyard, linen garments they should wear, and no wool should come up on them when they minister in the gates of the inner courtyard and inside.40
  18. Linen headdresses are what should prove to be on their head,41 and linen drawers are what should prove to be upon their hips.42 They should not gird themselves with [what causes] sweat.
  19. And when they go forth to the outer courtyard, [even] to the outer courtyard to the people, they should strip off their garments in which they were ministering,43 and they must deposit them in the holy dining rooms44 and put on other garments, that they may not sanctify the people with their garments.45
  20. And their head they should not shave,46 and the hair of the head they should not wear loose. They should by all means clip [the hair of] their heads.47
  21. And no wine should any priests drink when they come into the inner courtyard.48
  22. And no widow or divorced woman should they take for themselves as wives,49 but virgins of the offspring of the house of Israel50 or the widow who happens to be the widow of a priest they may take.’
  23. ¶ “‘And my people they should instruct in the difference between a holy thing and a profane thing; and the difference between what is unclean and what is clean they should cause them to know.51
  24. And in a legal case they themselves should stand in order to judge;52 with my judicial decisions they must also judge it.53 And my laws and my statutes in regard to all my festal seasons54 they should keep, and my sabbaths they should sanctify.55
  25. And to a dead person[h] of mankind[i] he should not come in so as to become unclean, but for father or for mother or for son or for daughter [or] for brother or for a sister that has not become a husband’s[j] they may make themselves unclean.56
  26. And after his purification, seven days they should number off for him.57
  27. And on the day of his coming into the holy place,[k] into the inner courtyard, to minister in the holy place, he should present his sin offering,’58 is the utterance of the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.
  28. ¶ “‘And it must become theirs as an inheritance:[l] I am their inheritance.59 And no possession should YOU people give them in Israel: I am their possession.
  29. The grain offering and the sin offering and the guilt offering—they are the ones who will eat them.60 And every devoted thing in Israel—theirs it will become.61
  30. And the first of all the first ripe fruits of everything and every contribution of everything out of all YOUR contributions—to the priests it will come to belong;62 and the firstfruits of YOUR coarse meals YOU should give to the priest,63 in order to cause a blessing to rest upon your house.[m]64
  31. No body [already] dead and no creature torn to pieces of the flying creatures or of the beasts should the priests eat.’65

The NWT adds words to the text that are not in the greek Manuscripts to fit it's own doctrinal position for example

Compare the wording of the NWT and the NKJV at Colossians 1:15-17

    NKJV says

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

    NWT says

15 He is the image of the invisible God,the firstborn OF all creation;16 because by means of him all OTHER things were created in the heavens and on the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All OTHER things have been created through him and for him. 17 Also, he is before all OTHER things, and by means of him all OTHER things were made to exist,

The word “other” is not in the Greek but they add it Why? So they can decieve their followers into thinking that Christ was created by the Father and that he then created other things, that is not what the Greek says.

Truth is from God and those that follow him. As for lies? John8:44

Kiamia, I noticed you used a modern version of kjv to make your point about the nwt.

Why didn’t you use the original kjv of col1:15?

Is it because it disproves your point? It proves the opposite of what you wrote?

Here is kjv col1:15 ¶” Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn OF every creature:“

Now I appeal to your Christian nature to correct your mistake as God is watching each of us, and let us bless the God of Jesus his father.

Kjv 1Pe 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ….

Joshua, Jehovah’s Witnesses have never denied the deity of the Messiah in his prehuman existence. While on Earth he was fully 100% human. I do not mean he was a mere human, he was not affected by Adam’s unfaithful behavior, he was sinless.

When i do read some comments and seeing that its the same people that are supposed to be called believers but are talking ill of other denominations, it hurts. Let us all remember that We should judge not

The bible tells us to test the spirits. Satan disguises himself as angel of light. So yes some denomination are not teaching the truth. You are responsible for judging which ones are not. You have to judge the truth at all times. this is what the bible teaches

The NWT is a very good translation. Dr. Jason David BeDuhn PhD attests to that in his book Truth in Translation. drive.google.com/...5p16melHzg8/view

The NWT is Satanic filth to its very core.

The JW Cult is Satanic to its very core.

Praise Yahweh I will never be a victim of JW brainwashing. If I burn in Hell for eternity or I am ultimately annihilated so be it

May Yahweh's curse rest on the Watchtower Society and its Satanic leadership

Thank you for taking the time to provide this service. I like seeing the NASB on your web page in the same format as I read on paper. On other sites, the text area is smaller, and so I have to keep scrolling down to read and sometimes I lose the context. So I really appreciate the format.

As far as the NWT, you are certainly free to do whatever you think best with your own web pages. I'd suggest that you make a note anytime you have a translation that is associated with only one denomination or church, for example:
New World Translation (Jehovah's Witness version).

In Jesus' parable of the wheat and the tares. the main idea seems to be that you can't easily distinguish between God's people and not-God's people on this earth, so our Lord's response is to wait until they are shown to be the kind of people they are inside. But the NWT seems like false teaching to me. So I think the warning passages from Jesus' apostles are more applicable, as in 2 Peter 3:15-16, when he talks about Paul's writings:
"There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures."
And we also have the positive exhortations, as in 2 Timothy 2:15:
"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth."

Your suggestion regarding the denominational flagging is duly noted. But I can’t help but wonder, wouldn’t a Catholic also want “Protestant versions” marked as well?

As for the parable, I’m pretty sure the slaves were convinced in their own minds that they could tell the tares from the wheat. After all, aren’t they the ones who identified the problem in the first place? But the master obviously thought otherwise.

Furthermore, even at the time when Jesus himself was walking the earth, not everybody who claimed fellowship actually followed him causing John to inquire at Mark 9:39, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we tried to prevent him because he was not following us.” But Jesus said, “Do not hinder him . . . for he who is not against us is for us.”

Hello, question.. why have you included the NWT with other legitimate bible translations? Or why have you not atleast included a warning to readers? Don't you fear that someone could be influenced by the Watchtower's intentional heresies? Thank you.

Please site these intentional heresies. I am well versed in the watch tower outline and agree they are in many ways incorrect but i also bet i can point many out from EVERY established or main denomination. There is much to learn from them all as one who drinks milk?

Judge not lest ye be judged, that is not to pass judgement on you either brother.

I debate with scripture. I don't hold it to be true that Michael is Y'Shua HaMeshiach but I also firmly hold it to be true that our G-d and Heavenly Father are not the word encarnate and only begotten son.

I love not seeing "lord" which i relate to baal. I feel the catholic church is a satanic establishment and I am aware a freemason started the hovies but there are evil in high places and our fight is also with principalities.

What i'm saying is that in my darkest hours, those two were some of if not the only ones who would bring a Bible and eucharist and pray with me.

We all fall short of the glory of G-d.

Don't forget the NWT was recognized as the most accurate translation on Jeopardy.

Lastly, this is different I noted than the NWT i have read and am very familiar with. Pull up the watchtower page and compare. I truly look forward to getting this one!
