Chapter 29 of ExodusNew World Translation (NWT)

  1. ¶ “And this is the thing that you are to do to them to sanctify them for acting as priests to me: Take a young bull,[a] and two rams,1 sound ones,2
  2. and unfermented bread and unfermented ring-shaped cakes moistened with oil and unfermented wafers smeared with oil.3 Out of fine wheat flour you will make them.
  3. And you must put them upon a basket and present them in the basket,4 and also the bull and the two rams.
  4. ¶ “And you will present Aaron and his sons at the entrance5 of the tent of meeting, and you must wash them with water.6
  5. Then you must take the garments7 and clothe Aaron with the robe and the sleeveless coat of the ephʹod and with the ephʹod and the breastpiece, and you must tie it closely to him with the girdle of the ephʹod.8
  6. And you must set the turban upon his head and put the holy sign of dedication[b] upon the turban.9
  7. And you must take the anointing oil10 and pour it upon his head and anoint him.11
  8. ¶ “Then you will bring his sons near and you must clothe them with the robes.12
  9. And you must gird them with the sashes, Aaron as well as his sons, and you must wrap the headgear upon them; and the priesthood must become theirs as a statute to time indefinite.[c]13 So you must fill the hand of Aaron and the hand of his sons with power.14
  10. ¶ “You must now present the bull before the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons must lay their hands upon the bull’s head.15
  11. And you must slaughter the bull before Jehovah, at the entrance of the tent of meeting.16
  12. And you must take some of the bull’s blood17 and put it with your finger upon the horns of the altar,18 and all the rest of the blood you will pour out at the base of the altar.19
  13. And you must take all the fat20 that covers the intestines,21 and the appendage upon the liver,22 and the two kidneys and the fat that is upon them, and you must make them smoke upon the altar.23
  14. But the bull’s flesh and its skin and its dung you will burn with fire outside the camp.24 It is a sin offering.
  15. ¶ “Then you will take the one ram,25 and Aaron and his sons must lay their hands upon the ram’s head.26
  16. And you must slaughter the ram and take its blood and sprinkle it round about upon the altar.27
  17. And you will cut up the ram into its pieces, and you must wash its intestines28 and its shanks and put its pieces to one another and up to its head.
  18. And you must make the entire ram smoke upon the altar. It is a burnt offering29 to Jehovah, a restful odor.30 It is an offering made by fire[d] to Jehovah.
  19. ¶ “Next you must take the other ram, and Aaron and his sons must lay their hands upon the ram’s head.31
  20. And you must slaughter the ram and take some of its blood and put it upon the lobe of Aaron’s right ear and upon the lobe of his sons’ right ear and upon the thumb of their right hand and the big toe of their right foot,32 and you must sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar.
  21. And you must take some of the blood that is upon the altar and some of the anointing oil,33 and you must spatter it upon Aaron and his garments and upon his sons and the garments of his sons with him, that he and his garments and his sons and the garments of his sons with him may indeed be holy.34
  22. ¶ “And you must take from the ram the fat and the fat tail35 and the fat that covers the intestines, and the appendage of the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat that is upon them, and the right leg,36 for it is a ram of installation;[e]37
  23. also a round loaf of bread and a ring-shaped cake of oiled bread and a wafer out of the basket of unfermented cakes that is before Jehovah.38
  24. And you must place them all upon the palms of Aaron and upon the palms of his sons,39 and you must wave them to and fro as a wave offering before Jehovah.40
  25. And you must take them off their hands and make them smoke upon the altar upon the burnt offering as a restful odor before Jehovah.41 It is an offering made by fire to Jehovah.42
  26. ¶ “And you must take the breast of the ram of installation,43 which is for Aaron, and wave it to and fro as a wave offering before Jehovah, and it must become your portion.
  27. And you must sanctify the breast44 of the wave offering and the leg of the sacred portion[f] that was waved and that was contributed from the ram of installation,45 from what was for Aaron and from what was for his sons.
  28. And it must become Aaron’s and his sons’ by a regulation to time indefinite to be performed by the sons of Israel, because it is a sacred portion;46 and it will become a sacred portion to be rendered by the sons of Israel. From their communion sacrifices[g]47 it is their sacred portion for Jehovah.
  29. ¶ “And the holy garments48 that are Aaron’s will serve for his sons49 after him to anoint50 them in them and to fill their hand with power in them.51
  30. Seven days52 the priest who succeeds him from among his sons and who comes into the tent of meeting to minister in the holy place will wear them.
  31. ¶ “And you will take the ram of installation, and you must boil its flesh in a holy place.53
  32. And Aaron and his sons must eat54 the flesh of the ram and the bread that is in the basket at the entrance of the tent of meeting.
  33. And they must eat the things with which atonement[h] has been made to fill their hand with power, in order to sanctify them.55 But a stranger[i] may not eat them, because they are something holy.56
  34. And if any of the flesh of the installation sacrifice and of the bread should be left over until the morning, then you must burn what is left over with fire.57 It must not be eaten, because it is something holy.
  35. ¶ “And you must do this way to Aaron and his sons according to all that I have commanded you.58 You will take seven days to fill their hand with power.59
  36. And you will offer the bull of the sin offering daily for an atonement,60 and you must purify the altar from sin by your making atonement over it, and you must anoint61 it to sanctify it.
  37. You will take seven days to make atonement over the altar, and you must sanctify62 it that it may indeed become a most holy altar.63 Anyone who[j] touches the altar is to be holy.64
  38. ¶ “And this is what you will offer upon the altar: young rams each a year old, two a day constantly.65
  39. And you will offer the one young ram[k] in the morning,66 and you will offer the other young ram between the two evenings.[l]67
  40. And a tenth part of an eʹphah measure[m] of fine flour68 moistened with the fourth of a hin[n] of beaten oil, and a drink offering69 of the fourth of a hin of wine, will go for the first young ram.
  41. And you will offer the second young ram between the two evenings. With a grain offering70 like that of the morning and with a drink offering like its, you will render it as a restful odor, an offering made by fire to Jehovah.
  42. It is a constant71 burnt offering throughout YOUR generations at the entrance of the tent of meeting before Jehovah, where I shall present myself to YOU people to speak to you there.72
  43. ¶ “And I will present myself there to the sons of Israel, and it[o] will certainly be sanctified[p] by my glory.73
  44. And I will sanctify the tent of meeting and the altar; and I shall sanctify74 Aaron and his sons for them to act as priests to me.
  45. And I will tabernacle in the midst of the sons of Israel, and I will prove to be their God.75
  46. And they will certainly know that I am Jehovah their God, who brought them out of the land of Egypt that I may tabernacle in the midst of them.76 I am Jehovah their God.77

The NWT adds words to the text that are not in the greek Manuscripts to fit it's own doctrinal position for example

Compare the wording of the NWT and the NKJV at Colossians 1:15-17

    NKJV says

15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.

    NWT says

15 He is the image of the invisible God,the firstborn OF all creation;16 because by means of him all OTHER things were created in the heavens and on the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All OTHER things have been created through him and for him. 17 Also, he is before all OTHER things, and by means of him all OTHER things were made to exist,

The word “other” is not in the Greek but they add it Why? So they can decieve their followers into thinking that Christ was created by the Father and that he then created other things, that is not what the Greek says.

Truth is from God and those that follow him. As for lies? John8:44

Kiamia, I noticed you used a modern version of kjv to make your point about the nwt.

Why didn’t you use the original kjv of col1:15?

Is it because it disproves your point? It proves the opposite of what you wrote?

Here is kjv col1:15 ¶” Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn OF every creature:“

Now I appeal to your Christian nature to correct your mistake as God is watching each of us, and let us bless the God of Jesus his father.

Kjv 1Pe 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ….

Joshua, Jehovah’s Witnesses have never denied the deity of the Messiah in his prehuman existence. While on Earth he was fully 100% human. I do not mean he was a mere human, he was not affected by Adam’s unfaithful behavior, he was sinless.

When i do read some comments and seeing that its the same people that are supposed to be called believers but are talking ill of other denominations, it hurts. Let us all remember that We should judge not

The bible tells us to test the spirits. Satan disguises himself as angel of light. So yes some denomination are not teaching the truth. You are responsible for judging which ones are not. You have to judge the truth at all times. this is what the bible teaches

The NWT is a very good translation. Dr. Jason David BeDuhn PhD attests to that in his book Truth in Translation. drive.google.com/...5p16melHzg8/view

The NWT is Satanic filth to its very core.

The JW Cult is Satanic to its very core.

Praise Yahweh I will never be a victim of JW brainwashing. If I burn in Hell for eternity or I am ultimately annihilated so be it

May Yahweh's curse rest on the Watchtower Society and its Satanic leadership

NWT is a false translation that takes away from the deity of Jesus !

Thank you for taking the time to provide this service. I like seeing the NASB on your web page in the same format as I read on paper. On other sites, the text area is smaller, and so I have to keep scrolling down to read and sometimes I lose the context. So I really appreciate the format.

As far as the NWT, you are certainly free to do whatever you think best with your own web pages. I'd suggest that you make a note anytime you have a translation that is associated with only one denomination or church, for example:
New World Translation (Jehovah's Witness version).

In Jesus' parable of the wheat and the tares. the main idea seems to be that you can't easily distinguish between God's people and not-God's people on this earth, so our Lord's response is to wait until they are shown to be the kind of people they are inside. But the NWT seems like false teaching to me. So I think the warning passages from Jesus' apostles are more applicable, as in 2 Peter 3:15-16, when he talks about Paul's writings:
"There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures."
And we also have the positive exhortations, as in 2 Timothy 2:15:
"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth."

Your suggestion regarding the denominational flagging is duly noted. But I can’t help but wonder, wouldn’t a Catholic also want “Protestant versions” marked as well?

As for the parable, I’m pretty sure the slaves were convinced in their own minds that they could tell the tares from the wheat. After all, aren’t they the ones who identified the problem in the first place? But the master obviously thought otherwise.

Furthermore, even at the time when Jesus himself was walking the earth, not everybody who claimed fellowship actually followed him causing John to inquire at Mark 9:39, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we tried to prevent him because he was not following us.” But Jesus said, “Do not hinder him . . . for he who is not against us is for us.”

Hello, question.. why have you included the NWT with other legitimate bible translations? Or why have you not atleast included a warning to readers? Don't you fear that someone could be influenced by the Watchtower's intentional heresies? Thank you.

Please site these intentional heresies. I am well versed in the watch tower outline and agree they are in many ways incorrect but i also bet i can point many out from EVERY established or main denomination. There is much to learn from them all as one who drinks milk?

Judge not lest ye be judged, that is not to pass judgement on you either brother.

I debate with scripture. I don't hold it to be true that Michael is Y'Shua HaMeshiach but I also firmly hold it to be true that our G-d and Heavenly Father are not the word encarnate and only begotten son.

I love not seeing "lord" which i relate to baal. I feel the catholic church is a satanic establishment and I am aware a freemason started the hovies but there are evil in high places and our fight is also with principalities.

What i'm saying is that in my darkest hours, those two were some of if not the only ones who would bring a Bible and eucharist and pray with me.

We all fall short of the glory of G-d.

Don't forget the NWT was recognized as the most accurate translation on Jeopardy.

Lastly, this is different I noted than the NWT i have read and am very familiar with. Pull up the watchtower page and compare. I truly look forward to getting this one!
