Chapter 27 of ExodusNew World Translation (NWT)

  1. ¶ “And you must make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits its length and five cubits its width. The altar1 should be foursquare, and its height three cubits.
  2. And you must make its horns2 upon its four corners. Its horns will proceed out of it, and you must overlay it with copper.3
  3. And you must make its cans for clearing away its fatty ashes,[a] and its shovels, and its bowls, and its forks, and its fire holders; and you will make all its utensils[b] of copper.4
  4. And you must make a grating for it, a network5 of copper; and you must make upon the net four rings of copper at its four extremities.
  5. And you must put it under the altar’s rim down within, and the net must be toward the center of the altar.6
  6. And you must make poles for the altar, its poles being of acacia wood, and you must overlay them with copper.7
  7. And its poles must be put into the rings, and the poles must be upon the two sides of the altar when carrying it.8
  8. A hollow chest of planks you will make it. Just as he showed you[c] in the mountain, so they will make it.9
  9. ¶ “And you must make the courtyard10 of the tabernacle. For the side toward the Negʹeb, to the south, the courtyard has hangings of fine twisted linen,11 a hundred cubits being the length for the one side.
  10. And its twenty pillars and their twenty socket pedestals are of copper. The pegs of the pillars and their joints[d] are of silver.12
  11. So, too, it is for the north side in length, the hangings being for a hundred cubits of length, and its twenty pillars and their twenty socket pedestals being of copper, the pegs of the pillars and their joints being of silver.13
  12. As for the width of the courtyard, on the west side the hangings are of fifty cubits, their pillars being ten and their socket pedestals ten.14
  13. And the width of the courtyard on the east side toward the sunrising is fifty cubits.15
  14. And there are fifteen cubits of hangings to one side,[e] their pillars being three and their socket pedestals three.16
  15. And for the other side there are fifteen cubits of hangings, their pillars being three and their socket pedestals three.17
  16. ¶ “And for the gate of the courtyard there is a screen twenty cubits long, of blue thread and wool dyed reddish purple and coccus scarlet material and fine twisted linen, the work of a weaver,18 their pillars being four and their socket pedestals four.19
  17. All the pillars of the courtyard round about have fastenings of silver, and their pegs are of silver but their socket pedestals of copper.20
  18. The length of the courtyard is a hundred cubits,21 and the width fifty cubits,[f] and the height five cubits, of fine twisted linen, and their socket pedestals being of copper.
  19. And all the utensils[g] of the tabernacle in all its service, and all its tent pins, and all the pins of the courtyard are of copper.22
  20. ¶ “As for you, you are to command the sons of Israel that they get for you pure, beaten olive oil for the luminary, in order to light up the lamps constantly.23
  21. In the tent of meeting, outside the curtain24 that is by the Testimony, Aaron and his sons will set it in order from evening till morning before Jehovah.25 It is a statute to time indefinite for their generations,26 to be performed by the sons of Israel.27

When i do read some comments and seeing that its the same people that are supposed to be called believers but are talking ill of other denominations, it hurts. Let us all remember that We should judge not

The bible tells us to test the spirits. Satan disguises himself as angel of light. So yes some denomination are not teaching the truth. You are responsible for judging which ones are not. You have to judge the truth at all times. this is what the bible teaches

The NWT is a very good translation. Dr. Jason David BeDuhn PhD attests to that in his book Truth in Translation. drive.google.com/...5p16melHzg8/view

NWT is a false translation that takes away from the deity of Jesus !

Thank you for taking the time to provide this service. I like seeing the NASB on your web page in the same format as I read on paper. On other sites, the text area is smaller, and so I have to keep scrolling down to read and sometimes I lose the context. So I really appreciate the format.

As far as the NWT, you are certainly free to do whatever you think best with your own web pages. I'd suggest that you make a note anytime you have a translation that is associated with only one denomination or church, for example:
New World Translation (Jehovah's Witness version).

In Jesus' parable of the wheat and the tares. the main idea seems to be that you can't easily distinguish between God's people and not-God's people on this earth, so our Lord's response is to wait until they are shown to be the kind of people they are inside. But the NWT seems like false teaching to me. So I think the warning passages from Jesus' apostles are more applicable, as in 2 Peter 3:15-16, when he talks about Paul's writings:
"There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures."
And we also have the positive exhortations, as in 2 Timothy 2:15:
"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth."

Your suggestion regarding the denominational flagging is duly noted. But I can’t help but wonder, wouldn’t a Catholic also want “Protestant versions” marked as well?

As for the parable, I’m pretty sure the slaves were convinced in their own minds that they could tell the tares from the wheat. After all, aren’t they the ones who identified the problem in the first place? But the master obviously thought otherwise.

Furthermore, even at the time when Jesus himself was walking the earth, not everybody who claimed fellowship actually followed him causing John to inquire at Mark 9:39, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we tried to prevent him because he was not following us.” But Jesus said, “Do not hinder him . . . for he who is not against us is for us.”

Hello, question.. why have you included the NWT with other legitimate bible translations? Or why have you not atleast included a warning to readers? Don't you fear that someone could be influenced by the Watchtower's intentional heresies? Thank you.
