Chapter 26 of ExodusNew World Translation (NWT)

  1. ¶ “And the tabernacle[a] you are to make of ten tent cloths,1 of fine twisted linen and blue thread and wool dyed reddish purple and coccus scarlet material.2 With cherubs,3 the work of an embroiderer, you will make them.
  2. The length of each tent cloth is twenty-eight cubits and the width of each tent cloth is four cubits. There is one measure for all the tent cloths.4
  3. Five tent cloths are to form a series with the one joined to the other, and five tent cloths a series with the one joined to the other.5
  4. And you must make loops of blue thread upon the edge of the one tent cloth at the end of the series; and you are to do the same upon the edge of the outermost tent cloth at the other place of junction.6
  5. You will make fifty loops on the one tent cloth, and fifty loops you will make on the extremity of the tent cloth that is at the other place of junction, the loops being opposite one to the other.7
  6. And you must make fifty hooks of gold and join the tent cloths one to the other by means of the hooks, and it must become one tabernacle.8
  7. ¶ “And you must make cloths of goat’s hair9 for the tent upon the tabernacle. You will make eleven tent cloths.
  8. The length of each tent cloth is thirty cubits,10 and the width of each tent cloth is four cubits. There is one measure for the eleven tent cloths.
  9. And you must join five tent cloths by themselves and six tent cloths by themselves,11 and you must fold double the sixth tent cloth at the forefront of the tent.
  10. And you must make fifty loops upon the edge of the one tent cloth, the outermost one in the series, and fifty loops upon the edge of the tent cloth at the other place of junction.
  11. And you must make fifty hooks of copper12 and put the hooks in the loops and join the tent together, and it must become one.13
  12. And what remains over of the cloths of the tent is an overhanging. Half of the tent cloth that remains over is to hang over the back of the tabernacle.
  13. And the cubit on this side and the cubit on that side in what remains over in the length of the cloths of the tent will serve as an overhanging on the sides of the tabernacle, to cover it on this side and on that.
  14. ¶ “And you must make a covering for the tent of ram skins dyed red and a covering of sealskins up on top.
  15. ¶ “And you must make the panel frames[b]14 for the tabernacle of acacia wood, standing on end.
  16. Ten cubits is the length of a panel frame, and a cubit and a half is the width of each panel frame.
  17. Each panel frame has two tenons joined one to the other. That is the way you will do with all the panel frames of the tabernacle.
  18. And you must make the panel frames for the tabernacle, twenty panel frames for the side toward the Negʹeb, to the south.
  19. ¶ “And you will make forty socket pedestals15 of silver under the twenty panel frames; two socket pedestals under the one panel frame with its two tenons, and two socket pedestals under the other panel frame with its two tenons.
  20. And for the other side of the tabernacle, the northern side, twenty panel frames,16
  21. and their forty socket pedestals of silver, two socket pedestals under the one panel frame and two socket pedestals under the other panel frame.17
  22. And for the rear sections of the tabernacle to the west you will make six panel frames.18
  23. And you will make two panel frames as corner posts of the tabernacle19 on its two rear sections.
  24. And they should be duplicates at the bottom, and together they should be duplicates up to the top of each one at the first ring. That is the way it should be for the two of them. They will serve as two corner posts.
  25. And there must be eight panel frames and their socket pedestals of silver, sixteen pedestals, two socket pedestals under the one panel frame and two socket pedestals under the other panel frame.
  26. ¶ “And you must make bars of acacia20 wood, five for the panel frames of the one side of the tabernacle,
  27. and five bars for the panel frames of the other side of the tabernacle and five bars for the panel frames of the side of the tabernacle for the two rear sections to the west.21
  28. And the middle bar at the center of the panel frames is running through from end to end.
  29. ¶ “And you will overlay the panel frames with gold,22 and their rings you will make of gold as supports for the bars; and you must overlay the bars with gold.
  30. And you must set up the tabernacle according to the plan of it that you have been shown in the mountain.23
  31. ¶ “And you must make a curtain24 of blue thread and wool dyed reddish purple and coccus scarlet material and fine twisted linen. He will make it with cherubs,25 the work of an embroiderer.
  32. And you must put it upon four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold. Their pegs are of gold. They are upon four socket pedestals of silver.
  33. And you must put the curtain under the hooks and bring the ark of the testimony26 there within the curtain; and the curtain must make a division for YOU between the Holy27 and the Most Holy.[c]28
  34. And you must put the cover upon the ark of the testimony in the Most Holy.
  35. ¶ “And you must set the table outside the curtain, and the lampstand29 opposite the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the south; and the table you will put on the north side.
  36. And you must make a screen30 for the entrance of the tent of blue thread and wool dyed reddish purple and coccus scarlet material and fine twisted linen, the work of a weaver.
  37. And you must make for the screen five pillars of acacia and overlay them with gold. Their pegs are of gold. And you must cast for them five socket pedestals of copper.

The bible tells us to test the spirits. Satan disguises himself as angel of light. So yes some denomination are not teaching the truth. You are responsible for judging which ones are not. You have to judge the truth at all times. this is what the bible teaches

The NWT is a very good translation. Dr. Jason David BeDuhn PhD attests to that in his book Truth in Translation. drive.google.com/...5p16melHzg8/view

The NWT is Satanic filth to its very core.

The JW Cult is Satanic to its very core.

Praise Yahweh I will never be a victim of JW brainwashing. If I burn in Hell for eternity or I am ultimately annihilated so be it

May Yahweh's curse rest on the Watchtower Society and its Satanic leadership

NWT is a false translation that takes away from the deity of Jesus !

Thank you for taking the time to provide this service. I like seeing the NASB on your web page in the same format as I read on paper. On other sites, the text area is smaller, and so I have to keep scrolling down to read and sometimes I lose the context. So I really appreciate the format.

As far as the NWT, you are certainly free to do whatever you think best with your own web pages. I'd suggest that you make a note anytime you have a translation that is associated with only one denomination or church, for example:
New World Translation (Jehovah's Witness version).

In Jesus' parable of the wheat and the tares. the main idea seems to be that you can't easily distinguish between God's people and not-God's people on this earth, so our Lord's response is to wait until they are shown to be the kind of people they are inside. But the NWT seems like false teaching to me. So I think the warning passages from Jesus' apostles are more applicable, as in 2 Peter 3:15-16, when he talks about Paul's writings:
"There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures."
And we also have the positive exhortations, as in 2 Timothy 2:15:
"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth."

Your suggestion regarding the denominational flagging is duly noted. But I can’t help but wonder, wouldn’t a Catholic also want “Protestant versions” marked as well?

As for the parable, I’m pretty sure the slaves were convinced in their own minds that they could tell the tares from the wheat. After all, aren’t they the ones who identified the problem in the first place? But the master obviously thought otherwise.

Furthermore, even at the time when Jesus himself was walking the earth, not everybody who claimed fellowship actually followed him causing John to inquire at Mark 9:39, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we tried to prevent him because he was not following us.” But Jesus said, “Do not hinder him . . . for he who is not against us is for us.”

Hello, question.. why have you included the NWT with other legitimate bible translations? Or why have you not atleast included a warning to readers? Don't you fear that someone could be influenced by the Watchtower's intentional heresies? Thank you.

Please site these intentional heresies. I am well versed in the watch tower outline and agree they are in many ways incorrect but i also bet i can point many out from EVERY established or main denomination. There is much to learn from them all as one who drinks milk?

Judge not lest ye be judged, that is not to pass judgement on you either brother.

I debate with scripture. I don't hold it to be true that Michael is Y'Shua HaMeshiach but I also firmly hold it to be true that our G-d and Heavenly Father are not the word encarnate and only begotten son.

I love not seeing "lord" which i relate to baal. I feel the catholic church is a satanic establishment and I am aware a freemason started the hovies but there are evil in high places and our fight is also with principalities.

What i'm saying is that in my darkest hours, those two were some of if not the only ones who would bring a Bible and eucharist and pray with me.

We all fall short of the glory of G-d.

Don't forget the NWT was recognized as the most accurate translation on Jeopardy.

Lastly, this is different I noted than the NWT i have read and am very familiar with. Pull up the watchtower page and compare. I truly look forward to getting this one!
